We have not simply booked a "wedding photographer" with Niels, but we have met an interesting person who accompanied us in this exciting time part of our way. He has made us curious about our big day and lets us experience 1000 small moments now again because of his photos - where we have to laugh or are touched again involuntarily heartily or... Already the engagement shooting gave us wonderful pictures and made us relaxed. And when it was time, we just let Niels do his work and it was worth it! We didn't want any kitsch, no modern art, not only hip black and white pictures, but also no boring posed photos. We wanted to find each other in his photos and someone on our side with an eye for the details and all the feelings. Someone to shoot authentic, natural pictures. And that's exactly what we found! Our wedding is almost half a year in the past. I have now created a photo book for Christmas and had the chance to relive the day, thanks to the great pictures of Niels. These are really wonderful pictures, unique, not these standard couple pictures, which one knows otherwise in such a way. I would never have thought that I would display a wedding picture in the house - but now a photo is on the wall. 😉 If you really want special pictures, or better: if you want to be able to experience the whole day again at any later time, with all your feelings, from laughing to tears to embarrassing slips, Niels is the right guy for you. Besides he is super pleasant. I have been to weddings where the photographer was always visible and perceptible. Niels instead is always in the background and manages to take perfect pictures from there. When we started looking for a wedding photographer, we knew right from the beginning that we want natural pictures, snapshots of us and the guests. We wanted someone who could capture the mood of the wedding and does not shoot these typical stiff wedding couple pictures. And this wedding photographer was Niels ? He delivered exactly as promised. He captured the touching and the funny moments, quite discreetly without being in the foreground. Insanely great photos have been taken, which we look at again and again and do not even get enough of it. The perfect photographer for our perfect day ? Thank you so much!

We found Niels on the internet as a photographer with great pictures and got to know him personally in a café in Darmstadt/Germany. He accompanied us during our civil wedding, our getting-ready and our church wedding followed by a bridal couple shoot. What he has done for us is hard to put into words - he has captured and preserved two beautiful days with images and tangible emotions. Anyone looking for a photographer for posed, stiff and unnatural wedding photos à la 80s, is wrong with him - because Niels captures the moment, with all its magic around it. A small example: Our daughter just did not have any patience during the bridal shoot - it was hot, she was tired and then all these people around her as well. She cried and I comforted her with my husband. It's precisely these moments he captured and preserved, and not, as others would do, cut out, photoshop or perceived as ugly. We are very proud of these special pictures and would certainly not have remembered many things without him. Thank you, dear Niels, for everything you have done for us.

Ein Hochzeits Fotograf, der seines Gleichen sucht! Uns an Niels zu wenden, war die beste Entscheidung, die wir an unserer Hochzeit treffen konnten, außer vielleicht noch die Entscheidung "Ja" zu sagen. Die jahrelange Erfahrung war deutlich zu spüren, professionell, kompetent, jederzeit am richtigen Ort, ohne dabei zu stören. Unauffällig und doch allgegenwärtig. So sind authentische, ungestellte, natürliche Fotos entstanden, die wir uns immer wieder gerne ansehen und dabei ins Träumen geraten. Dadurch, dass wir eine komplette Hochzeitsreportage gebucht hatten, war er den ganzen Tag um uns herum, und hat durch seine freundliche und doch zurückhaltende Art sehr zu unserer Beruhigung beigetragen. Die Paarfoto-Session wurde zu einem echten Highlight der Feier, ein Moment der Zweisamkeit an diesem sonst so hektischen Tag. Ohne ihn wäre das sicher anders gewesen. Eine wirkliche Empfehlung! Ein positiver Mensch, der es einfach drauf hat!

We came across Niels on the Internet. Already the contact was very friendly and a 1st appointment was quickly found. We met at his home and discussed all details in a cosy atmosphere. We especially liked the open and sociable manner, with which the discussion of the contract became a pleasant task. The bridal couple shooting with Niels on our wedding day was unfortunately over much too quickly. He knew how to handle the different circumstances and to present us in a natural way. What we also liked very much was his discreet work during the wedding ceremony and the following event. So he not only succeeded in capturing the wedding party, but also in capturing the atmosphere. The viewing of our pictures turns into a wonderful experience and we can relive the special atmosphere again. We can recommend Niels without reservation and wish him you lot of fun with your pictures.

It was just awesome. We were really excited about his professionalism. Niels really has a good eye for the right moment and brings in his personality. Our originally booked photographer got sick, so Niels took his place. Without much preparation and agreement it worked 100%. Niels didn't feel like a "substitute", but was an enrichment for the day! Niels completely convinced us from the first to the last second. During the first meeting we not only had an instant connection to each other, but he also advised us very well.
